The month end close usually fails at collection, not at judgment: hours in one tool, receipts in another, invoices in a third, and someone assembling it all on the last evening of the month. In Pistacio, time entries, expenses, travel costs and invoices already live in the same workspace, so the monthly review is mostly done when you open it. You check open time entries and pending approvals, resolve them directly from the report, and close the month with a short review instead of a weekend.
