Every billable hour in Pistacio already knows its project, client and rate. An invoice only counts as an invoice when the mandatory fields are right. Pistacio assigns consecutive invoice numbers and pulls addresses, tax number or VAT ID, service period and tax rates from your stored data automatically. You review instead of maintaining every field by hand. That keeps you compliant with §14 UStG on every invoice — even the one that has to go out between two meetings.

ZUGFeRD, XRechnung and a public payment link
Pistacio generates structured e-invoices in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung format — ready for public-sector bodies and enterprise clients that require electronic invoices. Every invoice also gets a public link that needs no login: your clients open it straight in the browser instead of losing a PDF attachment to the spam folder. The status stays visible at all times — draft, sent, paid — without a separate spreadsheet.

From quote to invoice to reminder
Billing in Pistacio starts with the quote: once the client accepts, the agreed positions carry over instead of being rebuilt. When the work is done or the milestone hits, the quote becomes the invoice. And when an invoice stays open past its due date, the reminder goes out from the same place — with the full history of what was agreed, delivered and billed behind it.

DATEV handoff without re-typing
At month-end you export your invoicing and booking data in a DATEV-compatible format and hand it to your tax advisor. The numbers they receive are the numbers your projects produced, because nothing was re-entered along the way.
